I currently live in Schondorf Am Ammersee with my Border Collie. I've been involved in photography for over 20 years now. I started out shooting photojournalism in New York and Miami and more recently in London and Munich. For the last 15 years I've been covering sports events and shooting advertising internationally for companies such as Nike, Adidas, Red Bull, Lego, Microsoft, Siemens etc... A few years ago several of my commercial clients started asking me to cover their own private weddings as they wanted to avoid the somewhat contrived look of traditional wedding photography. My goal is to capture the joy, emotion and spontaneity of the big day in a 'fly on the wall' reportage style. As I hope you can see from my wedding photos I truly love shooting weddings, your wedding is never just a job to me.
A quick word on equipment. As we all know the camera doesn't make the photographer, however, having the latest in high end professional equipment does help you capture that special moment. I shoot with the very latest professional Canon cameras and lenses which I upgrade whenever a new model comes out. When additional Lighting is required I use ProFoto and Bowens. My editing is done on Apple computers and monitors using Photoshop & Lightroom.
With regard to pricing, I choose not to publish the prices on my website. I'ts very difficult to have a standard price when one wedding may have 50 guests and is local whilst the next wedding could have 300 guests and be in Italy! Please contact me per email or telephone for a quote stating the date and location of your wedding, how many guests you expect and a rough idea of how long I should document your celebration.
